Global Perspectives on Race, Justice and Equity with Lieutenant General (ret) Nadja West took place on August 20, 2020. LTG West is the 44th Army Surgeon General and the former Commanding General of US Army Medical Command. She is the Army's first African American Surgeon General, the first African American woman 3-star General, and the highest ranking woman graduate of West Point. He has lectured extensively in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, and has published over 100 peer reviewed essays in scholarly journals, and over 13 books on subjects ranging from Atlantic and Caribbean History, gender relations in the Caribbean, sport development and popular culture.
