Sara Arman '18

Sara Arman is studying International Relations and History, with a focus in the Middle East and Empires.  Outside of the IGL Sara serves as a Tisch Scholar, at the Tisch College of Civic Life and as Vice-President of the Muslims Students Association. Off campus, Sara interns at the Women and Public Policy Program, located at Harvard Kennedy School and volunteers at the Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center in Jamaica Plain.

This past summer Sara interned for Jamila Raqib, executive director of the Albert Einstein Institution. Amongst Sara’s responsibilities were preparing briefings on unfolding political events around the world, and archiving correspondence between Gene Sharp, founder of the Albert Einstein Institution and Albert Einstein, the institutions namesake.

Angelie Xiong '18

Angelie is a junior at Tufts majoring in International Relations. She was born and raised in Southern China and speaks Mandarin and Cantonese. At Tufts, Angelie is a hiphop dancer in Spirit of Color, a photojournalist, and a member of the business department of the Tufts Daily, as well as a passionate team member of China Care Lux fashion show. She loves traveling around the world and meeting new people and has been to more than ten countries. She’s extremely interested in documentary photography and enjoyed exploring and creating good photos through PNDP and working with other students.

Florian Eenkema van Dijk '18

Florian Eenkema van Dijk is junior at Tufts from Darien, CT. He is majoring in Film and Media Studies and completing a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies. He spends much of his time as an avid member of the Tufts Sailing Team and Chamber Singers. Florian is also passionate about traveling, cooking, and athletics. He hopes to travel and film documentaries later in life as well as own a boat. Florian is a deeply curious, adventurous teen who seeks to always make a positive impact on those around him.
