Resonating EPIIC's broad approach, an eclectic series of multidisciplinary programs are organized throughout the year, featuring art, drama, film, music and sport.

The Restless Conscience
EPIIC sponsored the U.S. premier of The Restless Conscience, a feature documentary film on the German resistance to Hitler from 1933-45 which was nominated for an Academy Award. The film was presented by its producer and director Hava Beller and followed by a discussion with Freya von Moltke, the widow of a leading figure of the resistance who was executed by the Nazis.

Prelude to Peace
As part of EPIIC's tenth anniversary celebration, and resonating its 1987 program year on The West Bank and Gaza Strip, EPIIC presented a concert and workshop by Bustan Abraham, a seven-person Israeli Arab and Jewish group that combines Eastern and Western forms of music.

"In Light of Our Reflection"
This interactive, juried exhibition was organized by two EPIIC students (as the senior honors thesis for one) at the Tufts University Art Gallery. Internationally-acclaimed artists included Ms. Agnes Denes, author of Book Of Dust: The Beginning and the End of Time and Thereafter. The opening reception featured a presentation by Farouk El-Baz, Founder of the Center for Remote Sensing at Boston University and Chief Scientist for the Apollo Missions at NASA.

The Sounds of Democratic Discourse
In 1997, world-renowned pianist and composer Chick Corea performed to conclude the EPIIC symposium on "The Future of Democracy." He included a 20-minute original solo dedicated to EPIIC.

Refugee Voices: A Dramatization
In 1998, EPIIC, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at Tufts University, and the Departments of Music and Drama and Dance adapted the atelier model to bring together students, faculty, and visiting artists to explore the collaborative process in the arts through seminars and performances. The project's thematic focus was to resonate and honor refugees voices through the dramatization of their stories. It dramatized women's and children's voices of The Suitcase: Refugee Voices From Bosnia and Croatia, as well as other refugee/immigrant experiences.
