Jamnesty! Music for Human Rights Concert

On Friday, April 12th, swing by Hotung in the Campus Center from 9-11pm to hear live performances, enjoy free food, win prizes, and sign letters advocating for victims of human rights abuses! There will be performances by Tufts bands, Gam Solub, Burst into Dames, and the Blank Quartet. Everyone who signs a letter is entered into a free raffle with the chance to win Tufts merchandise, a Bose bluetooth speaker, and more! The letter signing focuses on three case fighting to end the homophobic crackdown in Chechnya, to release the Iranian women’s rights defender Nasrin Sotoudeh who is being unjustly held as a prisoner of conscience, and to end the use of electroshock as punishment on children with disabilities at the Massachusetts Judge Rotenburg Center.
