For the first time in history, Latinx voters will form the largest minority voting bloc in the United States. With some 32 million Latinos eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election, the Latinx vote has taken center stage during this year’s election cycle. The growing presence and power of Latinx voters brings pressing questions to the fore. Can candidates capture the Latinx vote? What motivates Latinx voters to go to the polls, and what dissuades them? How has the Latinx voting bloc developed from the 20th century to present day? What role will the Latinx vote play on November 3rd and in future elections? Join the Tufts Latin American Committee as we explore these questions and more with insights from an expert panel on October 23rd at 3:00 pm EST.
