ALLIES
America foreign policy has been described as both too idealistic and too Machiavellian depending on whomever occupies the Oval Office. Have American ideals dictated its relationship with Latin America, or have human rights been completely irrelevant to U.S. foreign policy in the south? Join us as we discuss all of these ideas in the context of US policy in Latin America. You don't need any prior knowledge of the topic to join and there will be some short readings there to get you acquainted with the issues.
