The IGL Careers Series provides students with the opportunity to meet professional alumni. Take this chance to gain first-hand information and practical advice about various career paths. This event will focus on alumni from the business sector in start-ups, social entrepreneurship, enterprise technology, financial services, strategic partnerships and international business. This panel includes Anne O'Loughlin Bosman (A'02), Brad Bernstein (A'89) and Stephen Gershman (A'11). The panelists will share invaluable information through open, honest dialogue with the students who attend!

ANNE O’LOUGHLIN BOSMAN (A’02)
Anne O’Loughlin Bosman has over 14 years of experience managing small and high-growth startups and new ventures, from nascent ideas to fully operational multi-million dollar organizations. She began her career in operations and general management of social ventures, focusing her efforts on growing entrepreneurial business ideas that had a positive impact on relevant environmental and/or social justice issues. After completing her MBA in 2013, Anne became a Product Manager at HBX, Harvard Business School’s online learning program, in which she was responsible for launching and scaling new online business courses. Currently, Anne serves as the New England Regional Director for General Assembly, a venture-backed tech education organization working towards closing the global skills gap and diversifying the tech talent pipeline.

BRAD BERNSTEIN (A’89)
Brad Bernstein is a Managing Partner with FTV Capital in New York. He heads up the New York office and leads investments in enterprise technology & services and financial services. Brad has over 20 years of private equity experience. Prior to FTV Capital, Brad was a partner at Oak Hill Capital Management and its predecessors, where he managed the business and financial services group. He began his private equity career with Patricof & Company Ventures and started his professional career in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in New York.

STEPHEN GERSHMAN (A’11)
Stephen Gershman guides meaningful organizations to fulfill their stated missions. As a Principal Technical Consultant at Arcadia Healthcare Solutions, Stephen builds technology for leading hospital networks to deliver better care to patients. He teaches Doctors + Data: Inside Healthcare Data Analytics at Tufts University, with a focus on building the tools clinicians and administrators use each day to improve the US Healthcare System. As a volunteer, Stephen is a Board Member for LivableStreets Alliance, where he works within the Boston community to improve transportation access, infrastructure, and safety. A Board Member of Social Impact 360, he has enabled more than 1000 student entrepreneurs to start their careers in college and develop four core values: participate proactively, think adventurously, live consciously, and commit unreasonably.
