ALLIES Weekly Discussion: An Identity Built on Nationalism

After the fall of Europe's colonial empires, nation's like Turkey, India, and Egypt all used nationalism to unite and strengthen their nascent sovereign governments. We will investigate the role of nationalism in state building, and if its impacts left more harm than good. Join us at ALLIES as we discuss post-colonial state identities and the impact of nationalism. You don't need any prior knowledge of the topic to join and there will be some short readings there to get you acquainted with the discussion.

We hope to see you there!
