MERG: Negotiation Simulation AND Working in the State Departmen

MERG will be hosting Danny Stoian (in person). He will be spending half of the time speaking about his career at the State Department and answering any questions relating to his experience, then he will be leading a short negotiation simulation activity with us! Danny Stoian is currently a Fellow with the Negotiation Task Force at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard and most recently served as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Legislative Affairs Bureau at the U.S. Department of State.

IGL: Dr. Jean Mayer Global Citizenship Award Lecture: Ukraine and the Consequences for the West

David Lammy, MP and Shadow Foreign Secretary for the United Kingdom, will address the current situation in the West. David Lammy is the Member of Parliament for Tottenham and the Shadow Foreign Secretary. One of the leading agenda-setters in the fields of social activism, diversity and multi-culturalism, he was a member of the previous Labour Government (2001-2010), is respected across the party spectrum and is a well-known figure amongst the general public. He was Shadow Justice Secretary from April 2020 until November 2021.

The Norris and Margery Bendetson EPIIC International Symposium

Problems Without Passports
March 31- April 2, 2022

The international symposium is an annual public forum designed and enacted by EPIIC students. It features international practitioners, academics, public intellectuals, activists and journalists who come to Tufts each year for three days of discussion and debate in panels and small-group discussions determined by students in the EPIIC course. Students who conduct research projects also have the opportunity to present alongside the invited experts.
