Ambassador Feldman previously served as deputy and then Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP) at the U.S. Department of State, where he was accorded the personal rank of Ambassador by President Obama. He was a principal advisor to Secretaries of State John Kerry and Hillary Rodham Clinton regarding Afghanistan, Pakistan, and broader South, Central, and East Asian issues.

The Institute for Global Leadership – in collaboration with UNICEF USA, the Massachusetts Coalition to End Human Trafficking and New England International Donors – will hold a screening of the new film “Jhalki”, along with a panel discussion led by the filmmaker. “Jhalki,”is set against the backdrop of bonded child labour, trafficking and lost childhood in India.
The Institute will be offering a course on “Microfinance and Financial Inclusion” taught by Adam Grenier. Microfinance is a powerful tool in the anti-poverty toolkit to help people in challenging economic conditions have a more prosperous life. In this course, we address how small improvements can be made and take a comprehensive look at microfinance and its impact on people and societies.
The Institute is pleased to announce that the inaugural Jonathan Moore Memorial Lecture on Moral Global Leadership will be held on Wednesday, December 4, at 6:00pm in the ASEAN Auditorium at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Ambassador Samantha Power will give the inaugural lecture.
The class mixes lectures with role-playing simulations, and Professor McClintock also brought in a range of guest lectures with practical experience.The guest speakers included: Anand Balachandran, the Coordinator of Monitoring and Evaluation for the World Health Organization (WHO) Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Secretariat, and Ken Hyatt, Founder and Partner at CMPartners, and former Acting Under Secretary and Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade.

From 2001 to 2007 Dr. Williams was director of strategic planning for United Nations Secretaries-General Ban Ki-Moon and Kofi Annan in New York.
Her Take: (Re)Thinking Masculinity is a project in seven parts by the Seven of VII, the seven female photographers of VII. Each photographer is undertaking a visual reflection on masculinity — re-framing it, challenging it, referencing it historically, exploring it, considering it in specific cultural contexts and changing social conventions, or coming out from the shadow of it.
