The State of Global Vaccine Distribution

The Tufts Latin American Committee, the Middle East Research Group (MERG), the Tufts South Asian Regional Committee (SARC), and Tufts European Horizons, will be co-hosting a talk with Dr. Gavin Yamey, the Director of the Center for Policy Impact in Global Health at Duke Global Health Institute, on the global distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This talk, which will take place on Monday, May 3rd at 6pm, seeks to explore the barriers to immunity present at the micro level as well as how vaccine distribution is stimulating and/or transforming power competition in the global arena.

ALLIES Weekly Discussion: Withdrawal from Afghanistan

Two weeks ago, the Biden administration announced that all U.S. troops will leave Afghanistan by September 11. Join ALLIES this Wednesday at 8pm as we discuss the implications of troop withdrawal on Afghanistan and what challenges may lie ahead. As usual, no prior knowledge is required and background readings will be given at the meeting!
