The Capitol insurrection on January 6 has raised dozens of questions about the stability of American democracy and the prevalence of military individuals at the insurrection. How does the Capitol insurrection affect America’s democracy narrative and what should the role of the military be in a democracy.

Come join the #IGL on Monday, March 1, at 7:00 pm for the Oslo Scholars Information Session!

The Oslo Scholars Program seeks to offer undergraduate students who have a demonstrated interest in human rights and international political issues an opportunity to attend the Oslo Freedom Forum and spend their summer working with some of the world’s leading human rights defenders and activists. The information session will offer information about upcoming internship opportunities, experiences of past Oslo Scholars, and information about the Oslo Freedom Forum.
