Film Screening and Panel Discussion: Jhalki

The Institute for Global Leadership – in collaboration with UNICEF USA, the Massachusetts Coalition to End Human Trafficking and New England International Donors – will hold a screening of the new film “Jhalki”, along with a panel discussion led by the filmmaker. “Jhalki,”is set against the backdrop of bonded child labour, trafficking and lost childhood in India.

18 years later, how has U.S. foreign policy been shaped by the September 11th, 2001 attacks?". Join us at ALLIES as we discuss how the United States foreign policy has changed in some very noticeable ways after 9/11. You don't need any prior knowledge of the topic to join and there will be some short readings there to get you acquainted with the discussion.
