Fletcher School students Victoria Barber, Andrew Koch and Kaitlyn Neuberger recently traveled to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany to conduct research on the risks of Russian hybrid warfare, focusing on the Baltics.
Today I was able interview two very enlightening professionals dealing with the issue of human trafficking: Toos Hemskerk, a professional social worker and director of the INGO Not For Sale in the Netherlands, and Maarten Abelman, the head of the Dutch Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children.

Whitney Ceesay, a student in Tufts REAL (Resumed Education for Adult Learning) program, recently traveled to The Gambia to continue work on her solar dehydrating project, empowering women to increase food security in Tanjay, The Gambia. Whitney’s project was supported with an EMPOWER Scholarship from the IGL.
This fall's PNDP course ended the semester by creating and presenting a story from their work to children at Bright Horizons (formerly Tufts Educational Day Care Center). The stories ranged from "space aliens" in Providence to the life of a tow truck, told in photos and words.
