ALLIES FieldEx 2018: Field Exercise in Peace and Stability Operations by Ariel Serruya

On a weekend in April, Tufts students participated in a live, post-conflict simulation known as FieldEx (Field Exercise for Peacekeeping and Stability Operations). FieldEx is an annual event organized by a committee of undergraduate students of the IGL’s ALLIES program.

International Development Hackathon by Emerson Wenzel

The International Development Hackathon (IDHack) was held in February 2018. Very broadly, hackathons are twenty-four-hour events where groups of students come together to solve a challenge. Typically, this challenge involves using some sort of new technology or software, but IDHack is different.
